Who am I to argue?
By far, the two biggest requests have been for online multiplayer and the ability to roll the dice by flicking them. I completely understand wanting to play Squatzee with friends online; I want that too. But, the number of requests to "flick the dice" surprised me.
I wrote Squatzee to be an online multiplayer game. That's why it refers to human players as "local"; hidden under the hood is a player type of "Online." In a later DevLog, I'll discuss in greater detail the issues that forced me to abandon this feature. I'm hopeful that better minds than mine may have a solution.
I made a conscious decision not to roll the dice by clicking/flicking on the swirling collection of dice in the lower corner. It seemed to me that it would be just asking for accidental rolls since that's where many people hold their phones. It appears I was wrong; this is the second most requested feature. Who am I to argue? Watch for flicking to roll coming in a new release soon.
What would you like to see in the next release?
